Casa Montcada Leather was founded in Barcelona in 1969 by a second-generation saddler who adapted traditional leatherworking methods for the city’s growing design community. The workshop evolved from equestrian goods into refined accessories while retaining its preference for vegetable-tanned hides and considered, long-lasting construction. Now led by a new generation of makers, Casa Montcada manufactures small-batch leather accessories, belts, and structured bags for European retailers and design studios. Hand-cut patterns, burnished edges, and repair-minded construction remain central to the work, giving every piece a long, useful life.
